Meet Christen

"The Swim Lady"

Christen has lived on coast of North Carolina for over 20 years and is currently building a second home in Beaufort, SC. She has been teaching swimming since the 1990s. Christen has taught thousands of children how to swim and  and be safe in and around the water. Her passion is to reach more children every season and to carry on ISR’s goal of “Not one more child drowns”.

Programs Offered

Christen's training allows her to offer a range of programs including ISR Self-Rescue® instruction, American Red Cross Learn-To-Swim Lessons and CPR/AED/First Aid courses via the American Heart Association.

ISR IN THE NEWS

Three years ago, Olympic skier Bode Miller and his wife Morgan lost their little girl Emmy in a tragic drowning accident. Last summer, Natalie Morales visited them at their Southern California home, where their young twins were taught skills the Millers believe could have saved their daughter’s life. Full article.
